Behold the awesome nebulae flybys in this new In
Saturn's Rings trailer
Our friends of In Saturn's Rings have a new teaser for their incoming 4K IMAX
grand tour of the Universe, made using millions of high definition photographs
taken by telescopes and spacecraft. There are no 3D models in these videos.
Just photos, animated by 67 volunteers from all over the world.
According to Val Klavans, there's plenty of new sequences in this trailer, particularly some stunning nebula flybys: "There are new sequences at: 0:08, 0:15, 0:22, 0:30, 0:46, 0:52, 0:55, 1:14, 1:16, 1:18, 1:26, 1:37, 2:02, and 2:10."
The 2nd video below is just a fun spoof on the making of the movie. Full screen is highly recommended.

Created entirely from real photographs using photoanimation and multiplane photoanimation. No computer-generated images, painting, cloning, tweening, morphing, texture maps, camera projection or 3D models used. Even the "stargate" titles are created using photos—an 8000 photo mosaic of all-sky zoomed really fast to give blurred appearance.
Can't wait for the film to come out.
