Sweden Scanning Baltic Sea With High Tech Sensor for USO (Unidentified Submerged Object)

Mysterious craft off coast of Sweden sparks hunt for USO (Unidentified Submerged Object)

 

Swedish military ship hunts strange object in the Baltic Sea

A mysterious craft which surfaced in the Baltic Sea has left Swedish forces scanning the ocean with ‘specialized sensors’ – as some speculate that a hi-tech submarine could be in the area, and others suspect more mysterious forces are at play.

Ships, helicopters and troops were said to be investigating ‘foreign underwater activity’ in the Baltic Sea 30 miles off Stockholm.

A photo was released yesterday showing what appeared to be a craft surrounded by white ripples, which was said to have then submerged.

‘I have decided to increase the number of units in the area — units with specialised sensors,’ Commander Jonas Wikstroem told reporters at a press conference in Stockholm.

Some UFO websites are convinced that the object might be a USO – an Unidentified Submerged Object, after a spate of earlier sightings in the area, including an unearthly mushroom-like object sighted on the seabed in 2011.

‘Could the mysterious Russian submarine actually a Dutch sub, or this is another mysterious activity involving a USO?’ some ask.

Nigel Watson, author of The UFO Investigations Manual, says, ‘In the last 100 years there has been a steady transition from seeing apparently terrestrial biological sea or lake monsters to seeing unidentified submarines or extraterrestrial aliens and their craft.’

‘Often what in the past were regarded as the red eyesof a water monster are now interpreted as the red lights of an unidentified submerged object (USO).’

‘There are many sightings of UFOs flying into and out of our oceans, which suggest that these craft have secret underwater bases that they use to operate from. Concentrations of such sightings indicate that bases are in the North Sea, Black Sea and off the coasts of California and Puerto Rico.’

It was one of three sightings that the military said were credible reports.

Admiral Anders Grenstad said: ‘It could be a submarine, or a smaller submarine.

‘It could be divers using some form of moped-like underwater vehicle and it could be divers that don’t have any business on our territory.’

Sweden’s biggest such mobilisation since the Iron Curtain fell began on Friday after a radio transmission in Russian on an emergency frequency, according to reports.

Russia has denied any of its vessels were involved.

‘There are no extraordinary, let alone emergency, situations involving Russian warships,’ a military spokesman said.
