WATCH: Odd dancing orbs filmed at different ends of globe which sparked latest UFO claims
STRANGE dancing lights have been captured on video over south-east Asia and south America, leading to more claims of UFO visitations.
Two pictures taken in the Philippines and one over Argentina
A bizarre series of videos of lights in the night sky above the province of Pampanga in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines were uploaded to social media, before the frenzy among local witnesses made it onto local TV news.
Sightings of a number of odd lights photographed or videoed created immense online debate, with some claiming they were genuine UFOs with others dismissing them as drones, fireflies or Chinese lanterns.
Paolo Gallardo, posted a video to YouTube of a sighting, seen above the Lubao Diversion Road, said the lights were there more than 5 minutes, and claimed as there were no hills or tall buildings around it must have been a flying object.
Yet, Manila Bulletin spoke to Camilo Dacanay of the Philippine Astronomical Society (PAS), who was certain they were drones being "tested by the country's military or a private individual."
He said: "Drones, just like guns in the US, can now be purchased easily."
Police chief superintendent Ronald Santos added: "These could be military drones doing some surveillance or testing. The way I see it, there is nothing stunning
there. I don¹t consider this as a UFO."

He said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Association would publish a report on the sighting.
In the year 2000, residents reported sighting mysterious 'dancing lights' in the sky for five hours over the towns of Mabalacat and Angeles in Pampanga province.
Meanwhile, in Argentina, in a sighting not thought to be connected to the Philippines phenomena, law student called David Jorge Lazarte, filmed a weird object which
appeared to be three connected orbs, swirling through the sky above the city of
Cordoba in broad daylight.
He said he filmed the footage after spotting the weird sight while he exercised in the back garden of his home in the city.
The connected orbs appear to rotate slowly as they move across the sky.
A dog is heard repeatedly barking while he quietly filmed the object.
He told Dia a Dia: "I saw this bright object in the sky, looked for my camcorder and started to film, using my neighbour¹s banana tree as a reference. It sailed through the sky (eastwards) at very low speed.
"I have a tripod for the camcorder, but could not use it because I did not want to lose the opportunity to film the object. I recorded two more videos but they did not come out well."
