Two things remarkable about that letter and this resend are: 1) every word of the letter as sent in 2008 is exactly applicable in 2015, and 2) since 2008 the mainstream political media have refused to engage the facts behind that letter, which have huge implications for the nation and the American people. March 26, 2015 Open letter to the Honorable Hillary Clinton Washington, DC Dear Secretary Clinton: In March of 1993 billionaire Laurance Rockefeller initiated an extraordinary approach to your husband's administration via the Office of Science and Technology Policy headed by Dr. John Gibbons. A memorandum from Mr. Rockefeller's attorney Henry Diamond dated March 29, 1993 conveyed a request to meet with Gibbons "to discuss the potential availability of government information about unidentified flying objects and extraterrestrial life." Rockefeller, a friend and supporter of you and your husband, wanted to meet with the President and inform him "there is a belief in many quarters that the government has long held classified information regarding UFOs which has not been released and that the failure to do so has brought about unnecessary suspicion and distrust," and that "Many believe that the release of such information on a basis consistent with national security would be a significant gesture which would increase confidence in government." Thus began a three-year effort by a notable American to convince your husband to essentially be the "Disclosure President" and end a then 46-year truth embargo on providing the full facts to the American people regarding an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race. This effort, which included meetings, reports, briefings, a book, draft letters to the President and more, came to be known as the Rockefeller Initiative.  You were aware of this initiative from the beginning as was a key advisor to the President, John Podesta. You and your husband met with Rockefeller at his Wyoming ranch in August of 1995. Your husband tasked a close friend, Associate Attorney General Webster Hubbell, to look into the UFO issue at the Department of Justice and elsewhere. He tasked John Podesta, his eventual Chief of Staff, to reform and accelerate the document declassification process. You were kept informed of the ongoing initiative and helped draft a letter from Rockefeller to the President. It is notable that John Podesta, the founder and now CEO of the Center for American Progress, in 2002 and 2003 called for the release to the public of all UFO and related documents in government files. In 2004 Governor Bill Richardson, UN Ambassador and Secretary of Energy during your husband's administration, made a similar request for documents pertaining to the events in Roswell, New Mexico during July of 1947. These facts are known from news articles, public records and, most importantly, from nearly 1000 pages of correspondence and documents obtained by researcher Grant Cameron from the Office of Science and Technology Policy via the Freedom of Information Act. Additional relevant documents were released from the Clinton Presidential Library. Madam Secretary, it is your ambition to reach a significant milestone in American history by becoming the first President of the United States who happens to be a woman, or put another way, the 49th female head of state. While this would be an admirable legacy, what the American people need is less legacy and more truth. The people have lost patience with "in loco parentis" government that treats them like children and candidates with long lists of issues they can't discuss because it is not convenient to their campaign or the people "can't handle the truth." Because you have been introduced to these matters within the context of the White House, because you aspire to the highest office in the nation, you have an extraordinary opportunity and primary obligation to address what is easily the most profound issue of our time - an issue with major national security and policy implications. A family claim their barbecue was interrupted by four UFOs 'zooming across the sky' - quickly followed by a Ministry of Defence helicopter.

Andrea Finney, from Bolton, Lancashire, was enjoying a pleasant outdoor family meal with her husband Nigel and their son when the mysterious event left them spooked.

The 48-year-old, who works in property management, told Mirror Online: "There were four of them, and they zoomed across the sky.

Bob Lazar's claims regarding back engineered alien technology he allegedly worked on at Area 51 made the U.S. Air Force's most secret base a household name. Lazar's claims were made popular when he took part in an anonymous interview with KLAS investigative reporter George Knapp in 1989. This and subsequent interviews became very popular and have made Area 51 synonymous with aliens and UFOs.

Lazar has never made a public appearance at a UFO conference to discuss his alleged work at Area 51, until now. On February 21, 2015, Lazar participated in a Q and A session with George Knapp, who is still an investigative reporter with KLAS in Las Vegas.

Mysterious & Enormous Blue and White Flash Over Russian Horizon

An inexplicable white-and-blue flash was spotted lighting up the sky over the southern Russian city of Stavropol. A dashcam video has since triggered a heated debate over the origins of the mysterious sight.

Stavropol’s horizon offered a jaw-dropping view to those who weren’t asleep at around 00:39 local time (21.39 GMT on Monday). The soundless flash of light scared several people, as it made some streetlights in the city go out, while being accompanied by the flickering of lights inside apartments and houses.

Local residents have come up with various theories to interpret the incident – military exercises that are currently taking place not far from the scene, faults in the electricity net, Northern Lights, an asteroid and even UFOs.

President Clinton on Jimmy Kimmel Live - April 2, 2013  In January of 2013 PRG announced it would launch the Congressional Hearing Initiative (CHI) on March 31. At that time a 10-disk DVD set with the 30-hour record of the Citizen Hearing on Disclosure (CHD) would be shipped to the offices of every member of the U.S. Congress. That record includes three hours of testimony regarding the Rockefeller Initiative (1993-1996). It names Pres. Clinton, Sec. Clinton, John Podesta, Sec. Panetta, Gov. Bill Richardson, and Vice Pres. Al Gore as knowing about and/or being directly involved in Rockefeller's attempt to convince Pres. Clinton to release all UFO files, grant amnesty to witnesses and likely end the ET truth embargo. Sometime prior to the CHI launch date Pres. Bill Clinton scheduled an appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Live Show for April 2. When the show was taped that afternoon, Pres. Clinton would not have known the CHI had been postponed as of the evening of March 31 - 36 hours earlier. Presidential appearances on talk shows are scripted in advance.  Pres. Clinton asked for Kimmel to query him about extraterrestrials. When you watch his response, keep the CHI in mind. PRG contends his appearance was an act of inoculation by means of a "limited hangout."   John Podesta's Parting Tweet - February 13, 2014 John Podesta was a key assistant to Pres. Clinton during the Rockefeller Initiative and became chief of staff during Clinton's second term. He called for the release of all government held UFO files on October 22, 2002 and again on October 23, 2003 at the National Press Club. He wrote a foreword to Leslie Kean's book, UFOs: Generals, Pilots, and Government Officials Go on the Record and participated in a related documentary. He co-chaired Pres. Obama's 2008 post-election transition team and became an advisor to Pres. Obama in December of 2013. Upon leaving his White House advisor position February 13, 2015 to become chairman of Sec. Hilliary Clinton's presidential campaign, he posted the above tweet and copied New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd. The CHI was launched on November 5, 2014 when the 30-hour CHD video record was shipped to Congress. A social media campaign was also initiated, which generated one million Twitter, Facebook and E-mail message to congressional offices. Verbal requests to meet with legislative committee aides were submitted in early January. Fax requests for staff meetings were sent in early February. One of those faxes included a summary of the Rockefeller Initiative also naming names. It was sent on February 11. Two days later Mr. Podesta posted his tweet, which generated news stores world wide. PRG contends this tweet was an act of inoculation by means of a "limited hangout."   President Obama on Jimmy Kimmel Live - March 13, 2015 After the Podesta tweet spread throughout the Internet, political media interest in the CHI became energized. An expansive article was published in the important political newspaper  Roll Call. More articles followed, and meetings with Capitol Hill staff began in early March. Shortly thereafter President Obama scheduled an appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Live Show for March 13. He asked Kimmel to query him on the matter of extraterrestrials. Mr. Kimmel began his question in nearly identical fashion to the same question asked of President Clinton on April 2, 2013. His appearance generatednews stories world wide. When you watch his response, keep the CHI in mind. PRG contends his appearance was an act of inoculation by means of a "limited hangout." What do these events mean? Inoculation against what? There is a complex political theater underway right now because the truth embargo is in its last days. This fact poses serious strategic problems for the U. S. Government in general and the Clinton advisory team in particular. During the 22 years since the Rockefeller Initiative began, none of the Clintons' advisors or key associates have spoken a single word about it. Further, none have had to answer a single relevant question, because the media has never ask one. This is about to change. The persons mentioned above have either been President of the United States, campaigned to be President, or advised presidential campaigns eleven times - soon to be thirteen. They have deliberately refused to acknowledge the Rockefeller Initiative in service to their political and personal ambitions. As a consequence of the CHI the Rockefeller Initiative will soon receive the media attention it has always deserved. As these members of the political elite await this inevitability and plan how they will deal with it, they are attempting to inoculate themselves in hopes that will soften the impact on their legacies. A number of other nations, including Russia and China, could Disclose the extraterrestrial presence at any time. The geo-political implications for the United States would be negative and extreme. It's time for the President and Pentagon to cut a deal and end the truth embargo. While that is being decided, it is time for the U. S. Congress to get involved and begin the hearings now 45 years overdue.

Bill Fisher retired Texas Police Officer tells his UFO story

Bill Fisher still vividly remembers the strange, bright, silvery object that appeared to be hovering over the Mississippi River on the afternoon of March 9, 1967.

Mr. Fisher, then a Moline police officer, had just parked his three-wheel patrol motorcycle on 16th Avenue across from Sacred Heart School, where his son William Jr. was a student. Others saw the object, too, including neighbors, several students and a couple of nuns. Mr. Fisher retrieved an 8mm movie camera from his police trike and got some footage. It had moved away by then, and what’s caught on film is a little indistinct.

But those two minutes of footage helped make Mr. Fisher a star witness in a U.S. Air Force investigation of several UFO sightings reported from Moline to Galesburg over a few days in March 1967. Two investigating USAF captains arrived the very next day.

“The Air Force asked, ‘How high up was it?’ Mr. Fisher recalled recently. “‘I don’t know.’ ‘Well, how big do you think it was?’ ‘I think it was as big as a box car.’

“So that gave them a little perspective. From where I was standing, looking that way (north), I thought it had been over the Arsenal. Of course, I was naturally suspicious — somebody spying on our government.”

CIA Reclassified Previously Released UFO Documents

 

Examining and correlating the documents contained in three CIA sources (CREST, online FOIA reading room, FOIA by mail) is time consuming and frustrating. OpenMinds has reported that what has been learned from an examination of these files and other online resources is that the CIA policy of releasing UFO documents has been less than forthcoming and in at least one case the policy has been reversed.

The problem that the CIA has run into in regards to the release of classified material is that when released the material is often collected by researchers and saved for future reference. In 2006 the New York Times revealed a secret reclassification program undertaken by the intelligence community of previously released government documents at the National Archives. At the time the program had been ongoing for seven years.

As New York City dwellers, Claudia and her 13 year old son both enjoyed a little star gazing. It was late October 2004, and this night was special: there was going to be a lunar eclipse. So mother and son made an extra effort to see nature’s show. They went to New York’s Central Park in a place near Strawberry Fields.

In the park, mother and son took turns with a set of binoculars looking at the moon as well as other celestial sights. Claudia had just begun her turn with the field glasses when she remarked to her son, “What the hell is that?”

O ser humano tem uma tendência inegável para a arrogância, bem espelhada em diversas reacções do dia-a-dia, seja porque "eu sou o melhor...", "a minha equipa de futebol é a melhor...", "a minha religião é a verdadeira...", entre muitos outros exemplos que todos conhecemos.

Mas se quisermos acreditar que este tipo de comportamento está mais presente no comum dos mortais, estamos enganados. Também no meio científico, a arrogância por vezes impera, principalmente no surgimento de novas teorias/descobertas que venham desafiar o paradigma corrente.

Assim foi com a teoria do heliocentrismo de Nicolau Copérnico, seguida por Giordano Bruno e Galileu Galilei. Todos sofreram de alguma forma com o cepticismo da comunidade científica e religiosa da altura.

That’s the juicy question explored in agreeably geeky and philosophical terms in The Visit, a documentary which, cannily, isn’t so much about space invaders as it is about the people currently inhabiting this world. An exploration of what human behavior would look like to beings from another universe, The Visit feels like a report card on civilization in which the final grades aren’t that promising.
