Was
this a UFO, spotted over Bidston Hill?
A total of 30 UFO sightings were
reported in Merseyside over a 10 year period.
In one incident a person said they saw
“a perfect rectangle, the length of a car but three feet wide”, which then
started swaying before swooping like a bird.
In October 2002 someone said they saw a
hovering "object [that] looked like an upturned saucer, with a dome on
top.”
The Ministry of Defence received reports
of 1,999 UFO sightings between 2000 and 2009, when they stopped counting.
Nine people specifically mentioned
aliens, or something alien about their UFO sighting.
