80 degrees above the horizon moving rapidly and making no sound...

Springfield, New Jersey - 08-18-15

I was driving home from a meeting heading due east when I noticed a very bright white light outside of the driver side window.

It was approximately 80 degrees above the horizon moving rapidly and making no sound.

At first I though it was the ISS, but having seen the ISS many times this did not look like what I had seen in the past.

Then I thought of an aircraft, I live near Newark liberty Int'l airport, but there were no navigational lights and again no sounds of jet engines or turbo props. This also was no helicopter.

After passing overhead, a short time later I noticed a pulsating white light. I then lost sight of it as it passed behind some tall trees.

I am an amateur astronomer and have spent hundreds of hours looking at the sky through a telescope or binoculars and have never witnessed anything like this before.

It was not a comet, meteor or satellite.

I checked the NASA ISS website and the station was not due to pass over my area until over 1 hour later. As a matter of fact I observed the station later that evening.

I also went on a satellite tracker web site and there were none visible from my location that evening during that time period.

odd shapes and sizes in photos...

Hi BJ, Hope you are keeping well there. I have another strange sighting to share.

On August 14th 2015, while at work in Scarborough, I was on morning break outside having a smoke.

At about 10:10 am I sighted a trio of unknowns moving across the sky just south – quarter mile away moving from the west towards the east.

Being camera ready and in a state of shock, I began to film this spectacle. As I watched them and snapped away at them; they moved slowly across with two being much higher up.

The third one was quite lower – maybe less than a thousand feet; lower one about maybe 500 feet (guess).

After about five minutes, I lost sight of them as they continued to head northeast. I could explain these as balloons Yet in examination the very shape and colour does not appear normal to be balloons; maybe a new generation of balloons?

What is also interesting is today’s date; We experienced a massive power outage along the eastern seaboard August 14,2003 @4:11pm.

I would be interested to know what you think about these odd shapes and colours. I have selected the best five pictures to better illustrate. The last picture has a zoom on it revealing a bending cross like shape; weird eh?

IF you happen upon a weird flying object, possibly not of this world, do not bother calling the air force.

WHERE once the RAAF would investigate reports of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) - which it terms unusual aerial sightings (UAS) - it now refers such reports to specialist UFO watchers.

That is unless it has defence, security or public safety implications, which could include crashing aircraft or space debris falling to earth.

Defence instructions relating to UAS - released under freedom of information and published on the defence website - say its UFO function officially ended in 1996.

"Scientific records suggested there was no compelling reason for the RAAF to continue to devote resources to recording and investigating of UAS," one document says.

But that apparently has not got through to the public, with the RAAF issuing fresh instructions to duty officers at air bases such as Richmond.

"Members of the community who seek to report a UAS to RAAF personnel will be referred to a civil UFO research organisation in the first instance," it says in a document dated July 2015. It provides a list of known UFO organisations.

Reports of burning aircraft or space debris should be referred to police or civil aviation authorities.

These mysterious dancing dots spotted in the skies of an American city could be the first signs of an alien invasion. At least according to Michael Figueroa who was with a friend and some children when he spotted these strange lights.

He posted the footage on YouTube which shows the seven dancing lights moving together in formation before splitting apart and finally disappearing.

He and his friend are heard exclaiming in disbelief as they film the objects.

Ellen Lloyd - MessageToEagle.com - One of the most interesting aspects of the UFO phenomenon focuses on the origin of extraterrestrial craft. Whether you are new to the UFO phenomena, or have studied the subject for years, you cannot help wondering: "If UFOs are real outer space craft, then where do they come from and how do they get here?"

It is a simple question and yet it is very difficult to provide an intelligent and solid answer to this query.

 

• What is the place of origin of these intelligent alien beings? 
• Can we find them in the cluster of the Pleiades, in the constellation of Orion, or do they perhaps exist much closer to home?

Before I continue writing, it is essential to point out that the purpose of this article is not to prove the existence of Unidentified Flying Objects.

It is not my intention to convince skeptics that we are and have always been visited by extraterrestrials. Although it is fair to say this is a complex subject, any curious investigator will discover that a comprehensive and objective analysis of the UFO phenomenon clearly shows that we are not alone in the universe. It is correct to say that a number of UFO sightings can be dismissed and easily explained away, but let us not forget the unexplained cases. Countless UFO reports, photographs, world-wide mass-sightings, testimonies from high-ranked officials, photographs taken by NASA astronauts sightings obviously speak for themselves.
